    Agent Toolkit

Give your AI agent the WebMusic references for the interaction you want to build, along with your application’s framework and installed package versions. The agent can use those references to choose public imports, connect playback and views, and check its work in your application.

Start with machine-readable documentation, install the WebMusic skill from a source checkout, or copy a project instruction section. Each works independently; choose the entry that fits your agent.

Your application needs Start with Public reference
A ready-made player, musical input or view Web Components Quick Start and component inventory
WebMusic behavior behind your own interface Headless objects Headless inventory
Score data operations, custom rendering or independent controls API + UI Score API and UI Kit

These choices can coexist. For example, a custom interface can use a Headless player and attach views to its shared playback source. See Score setup for dependencies and entry-specific requirements.

The published toolkit covers Score, UI Kit and Kernel. Use the installed package’s exports and declarations to confirm an API before adding code; development-branch features may not be available in that version.

Copy this into your agent’s conversation from your application project:

Add a MIDI or MusicXML player with synchronized staff notation and a keyboard
readout to this application using WebMusic.
    Start with https://koperative-lab.github.io/WebMusic/quick-start/
    and https://koperative-lab.github.io/WebMusic/score/.
Inspect the framework, package manager and installed WebMusic versions first.
Use the public entries supported by those versions. Let one player own the
score and playback; attach both views to it. Include loading and error feedback
and start sound from a user action. Follow this project's styling conventions.
Run the application's checks and verify loading, play, pause, seeking and
cleanup. Report what was tested and any browser or sound behavior not verified.

Provide the music file or its public URL, the component or page to change, and any interaction requirements. If the agent cannot open the documentation, paste the relevant example and reference sections into the conversation.

    • llms.txt and documentation downloads: start with the index, or select full, component or pattern context.
    • Skills: install a reusable development workflow and query references with six lookup scripts.
    • AGENTS.md: keep WebMusic guidance with your application’s existing rules.
